McDonald’s Big Mac Sauce is a key element that contributes to the distinctive flavor of the Big Mac. While McDonald’s keeps the exact recipe a closely guarded secret, it’s widely believed that the Big Mac Sauce is a variation of Thousand Island dressing, or maybe a combination of Miracle Whip & Mayo. We tried both, with Miracle and without. Both delicious, so it’s up to each one to decide. Here is how you do it:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons French dressing/Miracle Whip
- 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Combine Ingredients:
- In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, French dressing, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, white vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Season:
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Chill:
- For the best flavor, cover the sauce and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before using. This allows the flavors to meld.
- Serve:
