Yes, it is a while since we had some fish, so here it is: Grilled Lemon Salmon! Great for having friends and family over. It’s quick and it does not take you to be a Chef to do it. Here are the simple steps of how you should make grilled Salmon.
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 lemons, divided
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 red onions, thinly sliced
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
- rep the Salmon:
- Zest one of the lemons and then juice both lemons. Combine the lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Marinate the Salmon:
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the lemon and garlic mixture over them. Ensure the salmon is well coated. Let it marinate for about 15-30 minutes, turning once or twice.
- Preheat the Grill:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the Salmon:
- Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Place the salmon fillets on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
- Grill the Red Onions:
- While grilling the salmon, add the thinly sliced red onions to the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they’re slightly charred and tender.
- Serve:
- Remove the grilled salmon and red onions from the grill.
- Serve the salmon on a platter, garnished with the grilled red onions and fresh chopped parsley.
- Drizzle any remaining marinade over the top.
