The super quick and easy dinner! Puffy pastry filled with goodness.

This is quick and easy. Yes, you need maybe 15 minutes to prepare it, but once it is in the oven, you have max 15 to 20 minutes before it is ready. We highly recommend you add a white creamy sauce to it. Or a Sriracha.

Getting started: 


  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite melting cheese)
  • 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, onions, mushrooms), diced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)


  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the crumbled bacon, grated cheese, diced vegetables, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Roll it out slightly to smooth any creases and create an even thickness.
  4. Cut the puff pastry into squares or rectangles of your desired size, approximately 4-5 inches in width.
  5. Spoon a generous amount of the bacon, cheese, and vegetable mixture onto the center of each pastry square.
  6. Fold one corner of the pastry over the filling to meet the opposite corner, creating a triangle. Press the edges together firmly to seal the filling inside.
  7. Use a fork to crimp the edges of the pastry triangle, further sealing the filling.
  8. Place the filled pastries on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with beaten egg wash, which will give them a golden color and a shiny finish.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastries are puffed up and golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the pastries cool for a few minutes before serving. They can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature.
