This is for the ones that “don’t have time” or for the ones that want something different. It’s really easy!
Ingredients:
- Fresh asparagus spears
- Bacon slices (1 slice per asparagus spear)
- Olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the tough ends of the asparagus spears and drizzle them with olive oil. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Take one slice of bacon and wrap it around each asparagus spear, starting from the bottom and working your way up.
- Place the bacon-wrapped asparagus on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender.
- Optional: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the bacon-wrapped asparagus before serving.
It’s a perfect side dish.
