Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus – the easy side dish

This is for the ones that “don’t have time” or for the ones that want something different. It’s really easy!


  • Fresh asparagus spears
  • Bacon slices (1 slice per asparagus spear)
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Trim the tough ends of the asparagus spears and drizzle them with olive oil. Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Take one slice of bacon and wrap it around each asparagus spear, starting from the bottom and working your way up.
  • Place the bacon-wrapped asparagus on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender.
  • Optional: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the bacon-wrapped asparagus before serving.

It’s a perfect side dish.
