The beef-hummus wrap you will rock the world with.

Let me change your life. This wrap is something you most probably didn’t try and that has to change. This is just something else! A real next level in terms of wrapped food.

We are gonna create a delicious and flavorful Mediterranean-inspired dish combining hummus, grilled beef, and steamed or grilled vegetables. We add the mint leaves and chili powder will add an extra burst of freshness and spiciness to the dish. Let’s get started.

Ingredients:

For the Grilled Beef:

  • 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Steamed/Grilled Vegetables:

  • 2 large carrots, sliced into sticks
  • 2 medium potatoes, sliced into wedges
  • 2 zucchinis, sliced into rounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For Assembly:

  • Fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • Chili powder or red pepper flakes (for extra spiciness)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Grilled Beef:
    • In a bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
    • Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes or refrigerate for a few hours to allow the flavors to meld.
    • Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated beef slices for 2-3 minutes per side or until cooked to your desired doneness. Set the grilled beef aside.
  2. For Hummus, we have a recipe -> Here
  3. Prepare the Steamed/Grilled Vegetables:
    • If steaming: Steam the carrot sticks, potato wedges, and zucchini rounds until tender-crisp. If grilling: Toss the vegetables with olive oil, salt, and black pepper, then grill until tender.
  1. Assemble the Wrap:
    • Get some Greek pita bread or Tortilla wraps and spread the prepared hummus.
    • Arrange the grilled beef slices on the hummus.
    • Surround the beef with the steamed or grilled vegetables – carrots, potatoes, and zucchini.
    • Sprinkle chopped mint leaves over the beef and vegetables for a refreshing twist.
    • For an extra kick, lightly dust with chili powder or red pepper flakes.
    • Optional, but recommended: Add some Grenadine fruit seeds. It’s a game changer.

Seriously, you will thank me later.
