But let’s get serious. Here is how you make a delicious bbq banana desert!
Ingredients:
- Ripe bananas
- Brown sugar
- Rum (dark or spiced)
- Butter

Instructions:
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Peel the bananas and cut them in half lengthwise.
- Sprinkle brown sugar on the cut side of each banana half.
- Place a small piece of butter on top of the sugar on each banana half.
- Drizzle a small amount of rum over each banana half.
- Place the bananas directly on the grill grates, cut side down.
- Cook for about 5 minutes, or until the sugar has melted and caramelized, and the bananas are soft and heated through.
- Carefully remove the bananas from the grill and let them cool slightly before serving. You don’t want to burn your mouth/tongue.
