Anyone can make a pizza, no doubt about that! But… There is a difference between an OMG taste and a Neah… taste. So let’s get to it!
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water (around 110°F or 43°C)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

Ok, the man in the picture is not playing with a dough, but I liked the picture and decided to use it.
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well.
- Gradually add the warm water while stirring the mixture with a spoon or your hands.
- Once the dough starts to come together, add the olive oil and continue kneading until the dough forms a smooth and elastic ball.
- Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and springy.
- Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a warm area for about 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
- After the dough has risen, punch it down to release any air bubbles and transfer it back to a lightly floured surface.
- Divide the dough into desired portions and shape each portion into a ball. Cover the dough balls with a clean towel and let them rest for about 15-20 minutes to relax the gluten.
- At this point, the pizza dough is ready to be stretched, topped with your favorite ingredients, and baked in a preheated oven at a high temperature (around 475°F or 245°C) until the crust is golden and crispy.
Remember to adjust the ingredient quantities if you need to make more or less dough. Enjoy your homemade pizza!
