Gluten Free – Omelette with Spinach and Feta

You are entitled to think that you don’t need to write down a recipe for a simple Gluten free Omelette with Spinach and Feta, but, there are people that don’t know this is possible, so, this is for them and maybe for others as well, we don’t judge, we are here to provide ideas and instructions on food recipes.


  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: A pinch of nutmeg or dried herbs for extra flavor
  • Optional toppings: Cherry tomatoes, diced red bell pepper, or sliced avocado


  1. Prepare the Spinach:
    • In a skillet, heat a bit of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped spinach and sauté until wilted. Set aside.
  2. Whisk the Eggs:
    • In a bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined. Season with salt, pepper, and any optional herbs or nutmeg.
  3. Cooking the Omelette:
    • Heat the olive oil or butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
    • Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet, tilting it to spread the eggs evenly.
  4. Add Spinach and Feta:
    • Once the edges of the omelette begin to set, sprinkle the sautéed spinach and crumbled feta over one-half of the omelette.
  5. Fold and Serve:
    • When the omelette is mostly set but still slightly runny on top, carefully fold it in half using a spatula.
  6. Cook Until Set:
    • Allow the omelette to cook for another minute or until the inside is fully cooked and the cheese is melted.
  7. Serve Warm:
    • Slide the omelette onto a plate, and if you like, garnish with additional feta, fresh herbs, or your choice of toppings.
  8. Optional: Add Sides:
    • Serve your spinach and feta omelette with a side of toast, a slice of whole-grain bread, or with simple tomatoes.
